3. Mobile payments – the rst choice when shopping abroad
If there is a chance to pay via mobile, be sure Chinese
customers will grab it. Latest surveys highlighted
that in 2017 65% of Chinese shoppers used mobile
payment methods to pay for their expenses abroad,
quite a high percentage compared to only 11% of
non-Chinese travellers using mobile payments.
